The pygmy pet pig, or minipig, is a common pet in various countries. A woman in Brazil, who already had dogs, decided to get a pig.
Rosangela Martins dos Santos from the Brazilian town of Peruibe bought an adorable minipig. The little piggy delighted the owner. But only in the beginning.

The breeder told her that the piggy would be no more than 90 cm long. But something went wrong. Within three years, the pig turned from a baby into a one-and-a-half-meter-long pig weighing 250 kilograms.

The pig’s name is Lilika. The owner loves her but definitely did not expect the purchase to turn out to be such a big surprise. Lilika eats 5 kg of food a day. She has her own couch. If the piggy is hungry, she can even open the fridge herself in search of a tasty treat.
