Sometimes wild animals come out to people for a portion of their food. However, megacities frighten the forest dwellers, so they have to hide.
Hide-and-seek in unfamiliar places is not always possible for wild animals either, especially when there is a lot of frightening noise and dangers around. Thus, in the south of Moscow, forest dwellers were found on the territory of a kindergarten.
A red-haired mother fox was running around the territory, and under one of the porches her 5 kids were hiding. Rescuers arrived on the spot and, using a hydraulic rescue tool, carefully extracted the squeaking and hungry babes.
They were frightened, but did not show aggression. After the rescue the animals were handed over to specialists from the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Moscow.
It’s good that neither people nor animals were hurt!
After the examination the mother and cubs were put in cages and sent to the forest. They immediately jumped out on the lawn and then headed back to their natural habitat.
