People saw this poor black fellow in their yard. It could barely stand on its feet, looked around sadly, and was hungry and weak.

This black cat was spotted in yard by residents of San Angelo, USA. It was obvious that the poor thing was not feeling well and was sad. People reported him to the local Hands of Mercy shelter.

The staff picked up the cat and immediately gave him to a holding facility where he could be cared for. “He was very hungry, dehydrated, and could barely stand on his feet. At first we assumed his chances were very slim and we would lose him that night,” the shelter staff said.

The cat received the unusual nickname T’Challa (T’Challa, in honor of the superhero Black Panther), and the caretaker did everything to quickly restore his health. The cat was still in a sad state and could not even eat by himself. She immediately noticed that the cat always curled up in a ball, moving its hind legs to itself. It turned out to be because of neurological problems. The caretaker fed him by the hour, gave him medicine – and soon there was progress. The cat began to walk more safely on his feet and eat on his own, which was already a wonderful result.

For now, T’Challa lives with his caretaker – and she is so used to him that she has no plans to give him to anyone else. This handsome boy may have found a home he hadn’t even dreamed of recently.
