A beagle named Chloe lives happily with her owners in the United States. Several months ago the doggie lost her best friend rabbit, who also lived in the family for many years. The poor dog could not overcome the loss, and the owner decided to get a new friend for Chloe. So she adopted the cat from the shelter.

“Chloe is very patient and gentle for a beagle, and Chlea very much acts like a dog,” Megan Cottone, the pair’s mom, told The Dodo. “Chlea wants to go everywhere that Chloe and I go, so we always bring her along!”
The cat was named Chlea, and immediately became the favorite of the whole family, including the dog. Chloe fell in love with the new family member at first sight and so began their strong friendship, atypical for a cat and a dog.

“When we got to the pumpkin patch, they were both excited and wanted to get out of the car to go exploring,” Cottone said. “Chloe was crying and Chlea was meowing … We found a quiet pumpkin patch that we knew both of them would enjoy sniffing around on their own.”
Since the day they met, the best friends have done everything together -sleeping, eating, and even walking on a leash. Wherever Chlea goes, Chloe immediately follows her, and often checks if everything is alright with her friend. There is a very tender and strong bond between them.

Recently, during a walk, the family came across a field with pumpkins, and the pets are very interested in it. Then the owner decided to give them a photo shoot with pumpkins and it turned out very cute shots!
