The man got out of his car and noticed a baby squirrel sitting on the road. They had fallen out of the nest and were not yet self-sufficient enough to go back in. The man found the nest nearby and carefully returned the poor creatures to it. It is better to return the animals at once so that no wild animals will attack them.
