The baby kitten was terrified when she was in a carrying house. Despite this fact, she had a Labrador friend, who helped her to integrate herself into society faster. The shelter employee Kendal Benken was the one who noticed the baby and gave her a name-Betty.  From the beginning, it was difficult to know the gender of an animal. She had to carry the Betty by tissue because hissings and scratching didn’t stop.

This made them close and eventually, Kendal decided to adopt Betty. She believes that raising wild animals you should be careful so that they can trust you and feel safe around you. She put a cat in the dog’s shelter and everyone could see and notice her during their visit into the kitchen. The dog literally took her under her protection and created a safe space for her. 

Kendal contributed to this process and tried to make things slow such as human touch, so the kitty will be able to adapt herself without traumas. Apparently, it worked. Betty and Labrador became friends and by trusting her Betty went out of the cage but she could never leave the Labrador. All these steps took to a better life.

Finally, a girl called Rose, adopted her. For keeping others updated, she always sends photos of Betty and tells how good she feels.
