Kaiser is a police dog who has been on the force in Orpington, near London, United Kingdom, for several years. In June, patrol officers received an urgent call that a burglar had broken into a local family’s backyard, and residents reported him in time.
The policeman took his faithful Kaiser with him, and went to the family home. Kaiser immediately acted like a true hero – he fearlessly neutralized the burglar, making him run away, and saved the whole family, because it turned out that the criminal was carrying a knife
The whole family and the police were very grateful to the heroic dog. It seemed to be his job, but Kaiser did everything really professionally! Later, when the dog recovered, he was rewarded for his bravery and returned to duty.
The doggie was officially awarded by the mayor of Bromley County himself. Kaiser was given a toy, which he really liked. Thanks for the rescue, hero!
Sharing news of his return to duty on Friday, the Sutton Police Facebook page said: “After being brutally stabbed in June, PD Kaiser and his handler PC Woolcott were welcomed back by our Borough Commander Dave Stringer and The Mayor & Mayoress of Bromley this morning.
Kaiser was absolutely delighted upon receiving a new toy which was gifted to him by The Mayor for his bravery.”
