An elderly husky named Chaim has a favorite activity. She likes to sit by the walkway, and with all her looks ask for attention and affection from passersby. Look at this miracle!

This elderly 13-year-old husky came up with her own special way to get the attention of passersby and ask for affection. Despite the fact that she has a loving owner.

“She likes that spot so she can watch the world go by,” David Nagadhana, Hime’s dad, told The Dodo. “But she has other strategies.”

The dog just loves to squat by the walkway on the Richmond waterfront, where enough passersby and joggers walk. Most passersby immediately pay attention to her and greet her – and Chaim is only too happy to receive such attention. According to the owner, he is already used to this feature of his doggie.

“She loves finding new and interesting and exciting locations so that she may proceed to nap in them,” Nagadhana said. “She finds it relaxing enough to nod off on occasion.”

Her owner picked her up as a young puppy from a shelter. He often takes her with him to new places and on bike rides – the dog is always happy to go on such trips. “At her advanced age, Jaime is a very gentle creature, so she is only happy to get the attention of strangers,” says her owner.

“She was there for me when life ground to a halt during the pandemic,” Nagadhana said. “I’ll be there for her until the end. Raising dogs is like a rainbow. Puppies are the joy at one end, old dogs are the treasure at the other.”
