The kitten without a nose was thrown away like garbage, but then he was lucky to meet good people
A 6-month-old kitten was found abandoned near a garbage can. Not only was the little one all alone, but he was also emaciated and dirty. Fortunately, the baby was found by a Good Samaritan, who took him to the MSPCA-Angell Animal Center for full support. The poor thing was named Nigel, and he had an infection on his snout that made his cat’s nose bleach. The kitten was immediately prescribed antibiotics and painkillers.
It turned out that Nigel’s state of health is much worse than they thought. One day part of his nose fell off. It is not clear why this occurred, but doctors suggest that the cause could have been an injury. One of the surgeons at the medical center came up with a theory that Nigel may have been bitten in the face in the past, causing an infection and the nasal tissue to die.
Nigel was placed in a makeshift home, and the MSPCA continued to take great care of him. After a successful facial surgery, the baby recovered very quickly. But in the process of healing, the kitten’s lower fangs began to grow into its new upper lip. So they had to remove the teeth, which also succeeded doctors very successfully.
Nigel found a permanent home! He now lives with his new owner, who is a certified veterinarian, as well as with his cat brother and sister.
