A woman in Turkey came across a one-of-a-kind cat and decided to bring him home. Midas was the name she gave to her new favorite.

According to the owner, she hopes that her actions will encourage people to adopt animals, especially if they are unique.

Midas has four ears, according to legend. The “secondary” hearing organs are smaller and sit just in front of the primary ones.

The cat, on the other hand, solely hears with its enormous ears; the smaller ones are a peculiarity.

This malformation is linked to a recessive mutation in his parents’ gene. The four-legged one also has a distinguishing feature: a white heart on the tummy.

People on social media have taken notice of this unusual look. On Instagram, more than 26 thousand people have already started following the four-legged. Midas is now surrounded by his owner’s affection and the large white dog.
