Stray Cat Tries to Push His Way into a Home and Ends Up Changing His Life
Residents of the United States spotted this stray cat on their doorstep. Dirty, shabby, and hungry, he dared to walk right up to the door. When the family saw him, they immediately realized that the cat had been living on the streets for a long time. They immediately fed him and decided to help.
The family contacted the local Sparkle Cat Rescue. Although they almost didn’t have room, they found someone to entrust this kitty to and named him Fuller. Despite his surly appearance, the cat turned out to be a very affectionate and grateful creature – he immediately allowed his caregivers to pet him and was very kind to everyone.
“It was a very easy rescue. The kitty walked right up to them. He was very dirty and matted, and obviously had been homeless for a while,” Stephanie Grantham, cofounder of Sparkle Cat Rescue, shared.
“He was so cute when the TV came on, and he just sat and watched it. He is so thankful to be inside.”
Fuller quickly became accustomed to his caregivers, and the very next day he came to them asking for affection. Apparently, he missed affection and love so much that he could not get enough of it when he was around people. They never found a microchip on him and no one ever came for him. The staff didn’t know how long he’d been living on the streets or how he got there – but they took care of him like he was their pet.
“He’s an attention seeking boy, about 6-7 years old. Hopefully, he can find a home for the holidays,” Stephanie shared.
Fuller was not found to have any health problems – he was only given a coating treatment, removing any tangles. Four weeks have passed since his rescue, and they are now looking for permanent owners for him. Let’s wish this sweet creature a home as soon as possible!
