Residents of the Canadian city of Montreal spotted this fluffy kitten in their backyard. The frightened, dirty kitten was running and looking around fearfully. He did not approach people, and the owners of the house could not get close to him.

They had been feeding the kitten for some time and then contacted Chatons Orphelins shelter. When the staff saw the baby, they were horrified – he was covered with fleas, had many ticks in his ears, and found parasites in his body.
The kitten was given the name Alvin. The poor thing had a hard time with all the treatment and was terrified of everything around him but he managed to survive the treatment and was sent back to the shelter healthy.

At the shelter, Alvin hid in corners for the first time and kept trembling at any noise. But his caregivers did everything they could to make this boy feel comfortable, and over time, he slowly began to open up.
Not long before that, another kitten was brought to the shelter – a girl named Pippa. The little girl was picked up on the street with a severe eye infection, which had to be treated by veterinarians.

But brave Pippa withstood the infection and became a real beauty with eyes of different colors. After treatment, she became more playful and active.
When it came to rehoming, Pippa decided to give her to the family where Alvin lived. When these two met, they became friends from the first minute! The shy Alvin began to follow his active friend everywhere, and they spent all their time together.

Now the two are inseparable and do everything together as brother and sister. In the company of his new friend, the battered Alvin became much more confident, active, and playful.
Soon they will begin to look for permanent owners for these cuties and maybe they will be taken to a family together. Be happy, fluffies!
