Planck, in conjunction with the Institute of Cognitive Research in Lyon, has discovered hundreds of sound sequences that repeat between monkeys. Experts have revealed many impressive patterns. They discovered a previously unknown language through which communication takes place within primate groups. Almost four hundred sequences of sounds are, of course, quite primitive compared to human speech, but this set is quite sufficient to convey valuable information to the tribe.
