The first wave of imitating pets to their owners (or owners to their pets) was started by a young man named Liam Rice. He posted several photos online, in which, according to him, his husky dog Luna is copying the emotions of the owner.

These photos did not go unnoticed, and people from different countries began to post pictures of their dogs and cats, in which their emotions coincide, and thus the pets seem similar to their owners.
