Whitney Samuels saw a post on social media about a dog found in a terrible condition.
A girl immediately responded because she is a groomer. Her job is to help overgrown animals become more beautiful. “As soon as I saw the picture of the poor thing, I knew right away I wanted to help her. I contacted the people who found her and offered my services,” Whitney said.

The poor little thing they found was named Lucy. She had a hard time raising her head and walking. In some places, her paws were stuck together because of her coat. Her fur was tangled, dirty, and had thorns stuck to it. It also turned out that the dog was blind and deaf.
Thanks to Whitney’s professionalism, Lucy soon became unlike herself: she was visibly transformed after the haircut.
She immediately felt better and her condition improved. She felt relaxed and happy in her new home.
