People Bring Injured Owl Into Their House And He Trusts Them Completely
A couple from the United States was driving near a forest and suddenly saw a bird on the side of the road. It turned out to be an owl that wasn’t moving, and it looked as if it had gone out to ask for help. The bird was weak and had a damaged beak – so the guys couldn’t pass it by.
They also happened to be volunteers with the Bandita Ranch Conservancy rescue center, so they are sensitive to all animals. The guys took the owl to their home to take care of it. They consulted with veterinarians and learned the ins and outs of caring for the bird.
The owl, named Koko, trusted them right away. It felt like she was being helped and knew that no one would hurt her here. They fed the owl and took care of it and its wound on its beak. She grew stronger every day.
Fortunately, after a few days, the damaged beak recovered. During this time, the boys got so used to the gentle, sweet, and calm Coco that it was sad to let her go into the wild. But that day arrived. Before it came, they decided to build a small wooden tree house for her where she could fly in.
When Koko was released, she flew, but she landed in the nearest tree to the guys. It was obvious that she was sad to say goodbye, too, but the boys were happy that they were able to help her. Since that day, they have seen Koko periodically in the woods or heard her at night.
