The owners recently shared a photo of their cat named Marvin on a forum. It would seem that Marvin is an ordinary cat who happily lives with his owners, but recently he got a moment of fame on the Internet. The thing is that the photo with him turned out to be a strange and funny optical illusion.

In this photo (below), the owner is holding Marvin, but it looks like she put her hand right through him. “My brain is broken!”, “How’s that?”, “Is that photoshopped?”, “This picture is genius. A lot of people think it’s done in an editor, but it’s not,” users wrote under the photo.

The owners kept the intrigue at first, but then they explained everything with one drawing. It turned out that the owner was just holding Marvin that way. The cat also put his right paw down, covering his owner’s hand – that’s how the optical illusion was created.

Later, the owners published some “normal” photos of Marvin to assure everyone that he was safe and sound after such tricks. That’s how easily the kitty gained popularity on the Internet!
