Old Cat Jumps Up Every Time When He Sees People At The Door Of The Shelter
A few months ago, a 14-year-old cat named Rambo found himself in a shelter in Brisbane, Australia, after his owner passed away. Rambo was scared and stressed because he had lived in a home with loving people all his life and had never been to a shelter. It took him a long time to get used to the new environment and jumped up every time the staff or visitors came inside – hoping that he would be noticed.
Despite his fear, Rambo was very affectionate and kind to people and did not refuse companionship. A little later, the Best Friends Felines shelter found a holding facility for him, and the cat went to his caretakers. There, he was given medication and supportive therapy, since the cat had been diagnosed with some age-related ailments.
At the shelter, Rambo turned into a loving cat. He constantly followed his caretaker, demanded a lot of affection, and purred loudly in her arms. After a few days, his health began to improve, and Rambo himself blossomed. According to his caretaker, Rambo is a charming and kind old fellow who adores affection. Being an elderly gentleman, he sleeps a lot, but the rest of the time – eats with a great appetite, comes to his caretaker’s house, or plays. He has even made friends with the caretakers’ pet dog.
A permanent family is already being found for handsome Rambo, ready to take this old fellow in and spend his golden years with him. Be happy, Rambo!
