Sometimes the love of cleanliness and order can go to extremes, as in the case of a cat named Kai, who is simply obsessed with flushing the toilet. Except that the clean-clean kitty does it every chance he gets.
Sabrina, who lives in the United States, often hears the sound of a toilet flushing in her house. She thought it was some sort of plumbing problem, but one day she walked into the restroom and saw the guilt responsible for all the chaos.

“He’s been fascinated with toilet flushing since he was a kitten,” Louise told The Dodo. “He likes to watch the water. At a year old, I caught him using the toilet.”
It was her cat named Kai, who turned out to be an extremely clean creature. He discovered how the flush lever worked and started doing it every chance he got, whenever he liked. It all started when Kai was a kitten, and it’s been his main hobby ever since.

“He started flushing it in front of me, and that’s when he became quite obsessed,” Louise said. “I tried putting the lid down, but he still flushed. I tried shutting the door, but he screams.”
If Kai suddenly felt an urgent need to flush and the door to the bathroom was closed, he would sit by the door and meow loudly endlessly. He also loves to steal rolls of toilet paper and tear them up, which is his favorite toy.
The cat’s obsession has become so strong that the owner has decided to turn off the water before bedtime. During the day she allows him to pamper and flush, but at night this entertainment is not available to him – although he still tries to flush.

“Just before bed he tends to flush continuously,” Louise said. “I will yell at him, ‘Kai, don’t you flush again. Get out of the bathroom. Don’t make me come in there.’ Then he runs out, meowing and purring at me. Then a few minutes later, he’s back in there.”
