There are record-breakers among goats, too – and very cute ones! This baby goat named Simba was born in Pakistan. He’s not even a month old yet, but he’s already recognized as having the longest ears of any goat in the world.

The Nubian goat called Simba is the record holder among his brothers. He was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and less than a month later has the world’s longest ears. His ears are currently 48 centimeters long, but his owner says they will get even longer as he grows. Thanks to his ears, Simba has become a local celebrity and is being written about all over the world.

As the goat’s owner says, he never expected to see such an interesting feature in his goat, but he is proud of Simba’s peculiarity. He even made special rubber bands to support his ears when he eats, plays, or runs on the lawn.

Nubian goats are characterized by long ears, which is why they have earned the nicknames “bunny goat”, “lop-eared goat”, “lop-eared goat”. But Simba has a unique case – his ears are an exception and are the result of a genetic mutation, because usually the ears of Nubian goats are half the size. However, Simba is completely healthy and enjoys life.
