While traveling in Morocco, a tourist from Germany noticed a stray cat with a damaged tail on the streets. He couldn’t pass by and decided to help the poor little feline. Although the guy wasn’t planning on getting a cat, apparently it was fate!

Even then, Martin realized that he would not leave this kitty alone. He took her with him and put her right in his hotel room, and then she flew back home with him. Mogli became his best friend, and also his faithful companion. Martin is fond of motorcycle riding and often travels long distances, and he later took the cat with him on a big motorcycle trip.

“We were sitting in the streets of a small town when a little malnourished cat with an injured tail approached us,” Martin told The Dodo. “I called to her and she instantly came over, laid down in my arms and fell asleep. Locals who had seen her before told me that her mum got hit by a car and that she, being too young and weak to fend for herself, would most likely die in the streets.”

She immediately liked riding her motorcycle – she was not afraid of it at all, so Martin easily took her along. Together they rode around part of the Mediterranean coast, and continue their journey now. The owner observes all the safety rules, does not drive fast and keeps an eye on his sweetheart – all she has to do is enjoy every day of her new journeys!

“When I got up, I was still full of doubt, but already in love with that little rugrat, so I decided to put her on the motorbike to see how she would cope,” Klauka explained. “‘It’s definitely not the right place for a cat,’ I thought, but it was either going to be that or almost certain death on the streets.”

“I’m happy with where I am in my life and happy to have taken her,” Klauka added, “happy to have gotten through all of this.”
