A resident of North Carolina, USA, spotted four small stray kittens in her backyard. Recently, temperatures in some states dropped too low. The woman couldn’t bear to look at the freezing babies, so she took them to her house to warm them up.

“Temperatures were really cold. They had a lot of warming up to do,” Sarah Kelly, a foster volunteer of the rescue, shared. “They had an incredibly rough start, being left outside in a cold snap.”

Meanwhile, she contacted Sparkle Cat Rescue because she couldn’t leave the kittens behind. In addition, the babies were in poor condition and needed help. Later, the babies were taken to a shelter, and a volunteer named Sarah took them into her care.

“We were so lucky to have the incubator for these little ones, as they were so cold upon intake and struggled with low body temperatures.”

The babies were found to have some health problems. Among other things, they were very weak. The caretaker tried her best to save their lives, but unfortunately, one kitten lost the battle. The other three babies fought desperately for life.
Fortunately, they made it through and began to recover. The kittens were playing more and more, exploring their caretaker’s house, asking her for affection. Each of them was showing their own unique personality. A couple of weeks earlier, Sarah had taken in another baby kitten that had been brought in from the street.

The baby, named Bo, was also surviving on the cold streets without his mother, and Sarah did her best to put him on his paws and save his life. And she succeeded – the sleepless nights were not in vain. Bo was a little younger than the feline trio, but the caretaker decided to introduce them.

“They are inseparable and adorably attached from snuggles to snacks, adventures, and adoption day,” Sarah shared.

She was worried how they would react but in vain. The little ones immediately found a common language and began to play together as brothers. Soon they were inseparable and did everything together – eating, sleeping, exploring the house, and playing. Thanks to the “brothers,” Bo became more confident and much stronger.

“He’s such a caring little guy. He takes good care of us and is so loving and cuddly,” Catsidhe’s family wrote.

When the babies were old enough, they began to look for permanent homes for them. Fortunately, these fluffies quickly found families – two kittens were taken into one family at once, and Bo and one other kitten went to different owners.

“His playful chirps and sweet purrs bring so much joy to our household,” Bo’s mom wrote.
