A boy named Ash from the United States is two years old, but he has grown up around kittens since he was born. His mom works for Jersey Kitty Rescue Network, and often takes in kittens in need of care.
When newborn Ash was brought home from the hospital two years ago, he was first introduced to the family’s pet cat, Dan. They became best friends right away. Then the baby became friends with the other cats in the family’s care.
“When he turned one, we let him hold, pet them in a supervised environment. Ash was very attentive and knew they were different from the older cats. He was enamored by them,” Athina shared with Love Meow. “Ash would see me clean and feed the kitties. He always wanted to help and make sure they had food and water, which was so sweet. I would scoop our flushable litter in the toilet and he insisted on flushing.”
After a while, Ash began to help his mother with feeding the cats, constantly watching and caring for them. As the boy grew older, his responsibility to the furries grew as well. The boy gently and sensitively showed them his love.
“Ash has interacted with about 50 kittens since he was born. He always surprises us when he is with them.He will count how many kittens there are, point out their features, and discuss how they are brothers and sisters.”
Now Ash is two, and he is his mother’s main helper in caring for kittens. There is always a mutual love between him and the kitties that can be felt at a glance. Take a look at the little animal lover:
