A little black and white kitten was picked up on the streets of Southern California in the United States. The kitten turned out to be special – he had a bilateral cleft lip, which is probably why his mother cat abandoned him. The baby was all alone on the street.

“He is very purry and sweet. He has the most pitiful meow when he wants to be held like a baby,” Ashley shared with Love Meow.

Kind people picked him up and gave him to the Wrenn Rescue Center. There they began to take active care of the baby. He was fed through a tube because he could not eat by himself. Despite all the difficulties, the baby was very sweet and thanked his rescuers in every way.
The kitten was taken in by a volunteer named Ashley. The woman had two other kittens who also had developmental peculiarities. When the special black and white kitty recovered, Ashley introduced him to the others. All three became amazingly friendly from day one.

“He tracks everything impressively well by hearing and feeling vibrations using his whiskers,” Ashley shared. “If you didn’t know he was blind, you wouldn’t be able to tell easily. He gets around shockingly well, and he pounces, runs and jumps with all the accuracy of any kitten his age.”
The kittens started spending all their time together: they played, ate, and slept side by side. They became real brothers, and in addition, helped each other to get better and stronger as quickly as possible.

When the time came to look for a home for the kittens, Ashley faintly hoped that someone would be willing to take the three babies at once. But a family had written to her with such a request – they didn’t mind such a gang in their big house at all. So the kittens began a new life, with loving owners by their side!

“These three are bonded and have been the sweetest band of misfits. They brought my whole house so much joy — each so different, yet so complementary to each other. When their new mom reached out wanting to adopt all three, and asked me every right question I’d want an adopter to ask, I wept. Not one of these kittens was an after thought. All three are truly loved,” Ashley shared.
