Kitten Runs Towards Traffic Near School, Instantly Calms Down in the Arms of a Young Cat Whisperer
Residents of the American city of Philadelphia recently saw a little kitten in a school parking lot. The lost baby was running between buses, apparently looking for food. A little girl, a student at the school, immediately spotted it and picked it up, and then brought it to her mom in the car. She didn’t want the baby to get hit by a car.
“She didn’t want him to be run over, so she rushed to save him,” Jen told Love Meow.
The family decided to take the kitten to their home to feed and take care of him. As they drove home, the girl held the baby in her arms – and he purred loudly, showing his trust. At home, the baby was fed, bathed, and examined. She was given the nickname Bubblegum.
“She started her first day of school dressed as a cat, with a cat backpack and cat shaped water bottle.”
Unfortunately, the family couldn’t keep the kitten because they have several dogs living with them – but they immediately fell in love with the adorable Bubblegum. The next day, the kitten was taken to the vet clinic. The doctors said he was slightly underweight and had fleas. They found a re-home for him almost immediately and began to treat and restore his condition.
“I asked Addie, ‘I heard you have a name for him?’ She said, ‘Yes, I wanted to name him Bubblegum.’ So, Bubblegum he is,” Jen told Love Meow.
In just a week, the little guy gained weight and became much stronger and more active. And, finally realized what a warm home and loving people are around.
“He’s the most sociable, cuddliest kitten in the world. His vet staff all spent as much time as possible with him because he’s so snuggly. Everyone who meets him, adores him.”
