Kitten Found Alone Outside, Takes His Cow Toy Everywhere He Goes, Now Finds Company of Other Cats
This defenseless little guy was found at a construction site in North Carolina, USA. It sat inside the equipment and was squeaking loudly, begging for help as hard as it could. The workers had previously seen him with his mother cat, but she never showed up again.
“The mom was seen taking his sibling away, but after being left alone all night with the hope that his mom would come back for him, the workers found him in the morning and contacted us,” Sarah Kelly, volunteer of Sparkle Cat Rescue, shared.
The baby was left alone, hoping his mother would come back for him, but she never did. The builders never waited for his mother, so they decided to give the baby to Sparkle Cat Rescue. There he immediately fell into the kind hands of a foster mom named Sarah.
The kitten was very weak and fragile and needed round-the-clock care. The foster caregiver put him in a special incubator, where his body temperature was regulated, and fed him by the hour from a dropper.
“We decided to name him Bo, short for Bovine. He loves his cute little cow, so it suits him perfectly,” Sarah wrote.
Also, Sarah gave the baby two cuddly toys – a teddy bear, a pig, and a cow, so he wouldn’t feel lonely. After that, the kitten fell in love with his plush friends. He always tried to be near them and even slept next to them.
The baby, who was given the nickname Bo, grew stronger and healthier every day, pleasing his foster mother with his achievements. He began to crawl and become more interested in everything around him, but he was still attached to his plush friends.
Later the foster mom introduced Bo to the other kittens at the shelter, and he got along well with them. But even after long and fun games with his congeners, he always returned to his favorite place – next to his plush toys.
With them, the kitten felt safe and felt the warmth that he once lacked from his mom. It was as if these toys became big plush parents for him.
When Bo is old enough, they will start looking for a permanent home for him and his little companions. Of course, Bo will be sure to take his plush friends with him. Let’s wish this little guy a wonderful home soon!
