Husky Was Depressed When He Lost His Sight, But New Friend Helped Him Get Back To His Normal Life
Sometimes the lives of healthy pets are turned upside down. They may not be ready for the changes that have happened to them, because they do not understand how to live differently. In such trouble came an 11-year-old husky named Sterling.
The dog went blind several years ago – and he had to learn the world all over again, but without one sense organ – sight. The dog’s owners, Lillian, and Mark McKee, learned from the vet at one of their checkups that the dog had glaucoma.
As a result, the dog went blind. He was very depressed and didn’t want anything until he met Walker, and along with him, a new life.
The blind dog had always loved long walks and runs, and it was much more fun to do it together with Walker. Over time, the husky once again fell in love with life and became a cheerful animal.
Sometimes the owners notice that Walker forgets that his brother Sterling is blind. He steals snacks from him and attacks him like a healthy sibling.
Both animals were taken from shelters by their owners. The inseparable couple even has an Instagram account. It has 15,000 followers
