Guy Running To The Bank Did Not Expect To Rescue A Kitten Today
A man named Dan Javetz from Silver Spring County, USA was on his way to a bank downtown when he heard a pitying meow. It was coming from underneath the cars in the parking lot, and the man immediately decided to check to see who was making the sound.
“I heard this little ‘meow’ coming from underneath the cars parked in front of the bank,” Yavetz told The Dodo. “I got down, and I saw a kitten hiding, and I called out to her. Surprisingly enough, she ran out and jumped right in my arms.”
He looked under the cars and saw a very friendly little cat. Surprisingly, the little one got out from under the car and ran towards the man, and started purring next to him. It was as if she was asking to be rescued from the street.
“Instead of having to coax her out and work on her, she ran out right away, and I grabbed her, and she started purring and was really comfortable,” Yavetz said. “She was a beautiful-looking baby cat.”
There was a pet store nearby, and the man asked if they had lost a cat. They answered in the negative, so the man took his new acquaintance to the vet. The doctors determined that the cat did not have a tracking chip and suggested that she had simply been abandoned on the street some time ago.
“She’s totally a road cat,” Yavetz said. “She was riding on my shoulder on the way home, sitting in the passenger seat. Real cool, not skittish or anything, just full of love and full of energy.”
The man then decided to take the cat home. He already has a cat, so she became his new friend. The little one was named Lily, and now she is getting used to the house, exploring every corner, and of course, she is very grateful to her new owners!
“Every time we go over there, she’s always bouncing around, she loves the cat tower and scratching post, and she’s a big snuggler,” Yavetz said.
