Girl Rescued Black Panther And Raised It In Her Home
A resident of Siberia rescued a baby black panther named Luna from a mobile zoo. Now the 32-kilogram panther lives at the girl’s home as a pet. She is a well-mannered and charming big cat and gets along well with her owner’s dog.
The panther, named Luna, was rescued from a mobile Siberian zoo when her mother refused to feed the baby cat on the seventh day after birth. The zoo did not have the resources to care for the newborn raptor, so they contacted Luna’s current owner. The girl is an expert in the care of feral cats, and she agreed to take the cub.
Later, the girl bought the panther back, as the zoo management was planning to sell her to the not-so-great conditions. Since then, Luna lives in a house in Siberia together with her owner’s pet dog, a Rottweiler named Venza. The owner does not give her name or her exact location for security reasons.
Venza and Luna live in harmony, get along great, and love to play together – including hours of running in the snow. In addition, Luna is a social media star. She already has over 900,000 followers on Instagram. Many users wonder how to live with such a big cat, and whether she destroys the house.
“Luna is incredibly neat. I think if she were human, she would clean up better than I would! Luna has quiet flowers in her room, she doesn’t knock dishes off the table, she doesn’t pull furniture or curtains, or sharpen her claws on the scratching post. She’s just not interested, probably because she spends most of her energy on walks – and she doesn’t want to be naughty at home,” the owner writes.
