A birthday card can seem like a completely useless gift if it doesn’t include money, or if it isn’t handmade for a loved one. Romantic Ryan Smith decided to make a birthday card for his girlfriend, Laura, out of their shared photos, but failed in the end.
Normally for Laura’s birthday, Ryan would just sign the cards he bought, but they always included a secret location where they were supposed to have dinner. But for the past two years, the card had not come on time for Laura, and he had to change his plans a little. He told her about the meeting place in person, but he decided to work a little harder on the card.
He gathered their best photos together and made a collage on Moonpig. The template had Georgia’s name on it randomly, and each user had to write the name of the person they wanted to give the card to. But Ryan was in such a hurry that he forgot to do that and sent the gift to the birthday girl. The card went out that way, with Georgia’s name on it. And Laura received it.
Laura assumed that the guy had confused her name with some unknown girl’s name. However, Ryan showed her the pattern on the website and everything fell into place. Laura understood everything and laughed at the situation. After all, the guy had tried so hard… He just happened to be a little inattentive.
