Flossie Is The Cat In The Guinness Book of World Records

A turtle cat named Flossie lives in London and recently became a record-breaker and entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest cat in the world. Flossie was born in 1995 and will soon be 27 years old.

Craig Glenday, editor-in-chief at Guinness World Records, said: “We were so excited to hear about the lovely Flossie – it’s not every day you come across a cat who has been around since the mid-nineties. This is the human equivalent of over 120 years. We’re happy to see Flossie settled and enjoying all the home comforts she deserves in her later life.”

Flossie was picked up on the street when she was just a kitten. She lived with a loving family for 24 years, but later her owner passed away and the cat was transferred to the rescue center. Then they found a new owner for the kitty, a 27-year-old girl named Vicki Green. She immediately fell in love with this charming old lady.
