Elliot, an adorable Great Dane, is still enamored with the stuffed green dragon toy she had as a puppy.
Mandy Helwege, a Denver resident, adopted a Great Dane puppy in May 2017.
Dog’s future owner heard about the birth story from the breeder and generated a creative idea. She purchased a green dragon-shaped soft toy from the Internet, which was similar to a hero of Pet’s Dragon.
This heartwarming story of a little kid named Pete and a genuine dragon that he encountered by chance in the woods leaves no one unmoved. The dog was given the Disney hero’s moniker, which is Elliot. Also, a new buddy, to whom the dog instantly became devoted and refused to let go despite being an adult.
Mandy said she obtained a pet that is highly active, lively, and independent.
When she travels across the mountains, she travels with her dog. She enjoys going for long walks and wants to be a part of whatever her owner does.
Elliot, on the other hand, reverts to a little vulnerable puppy in the presence of her dragon.
Mandy took a series of images with a cat and her toy – from infancy to the current day – to record moments of this heartwarming bond.
“I frequently hear the expression “dog is for the soul,” and now that Elliot has entered my life, I can say that I have a greater grasp of what this means,” Mandy explains.
“We have such a strong connection; with her, nothing is the same as it was before.”
