Not long ago, a dog named Capitan saw the first snow of his life. The dog was very curious, and he was genuinely excited about the snow and also, he decided to share this moment with someone special.
Captain is a Golden Retriever who lives in the United States with his loving family. Ever since he came into the house as a little puppy, he has loved plush toys. His particular love has been plush tigers. Of course, many toys he just destroyed, but one stayed with him for a long time.
Now Capitan is one year old, and he carries his friend a stuffed tiger with him everywhere. At first, the teddy belonged to the owners’ child, but Capitan kept taking the tiger to himself and so he appropriated the toy. Since then, the dog has never parted with his best friend.
“He brings it everywhere! He always picks it up when he gets excited and wiggles his little butt,” Andersen said. “It’s his bestie.”
When it snowed in Colorado, it was the first snow in Capitan’s life. Looking out the window, the dog couldn’t understand what were those strange snowflakes? Once outside, the dog was interested, and even tried to eat the snow. But then he ran abruptly into the house, as if he had forgotten something. Of course, he wanted to share the moment with the tiger!
“He kinda just looked around at it and, of course, tried to eat a bit of it,” Andersen said. “But he just watched … he was so fascinated. He grabbed his tiger and ran back out and was galloping about”
Capitan took his beloved tiger outside to show him the snow and share his emotions with him. The owners were touched by this moment.
“He has really made this family complete,” Andersen said. “He is such a light and is always there for everyone. We have a son that is autistic, and he always goes to him to give him comfort. He’s just the best boy we could have ever hoped for.”
