Dog Always Chooses The Strangest Positions For His Naps
Howard is a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Labrador who lives happily with his owners in the United States. His favorite thing is to sleep. Howard really loves to sleep and does it in the most unimaginable and strange positions.
“He has always been huge and pays attention to nothing,” Kimberley Spencer, Howard’s mom, told The Dodo. “Howard is almost 100 pounds but thinks he is 25 pounds. When he stretches out on the bed, his body is about 5 feet long — coincidentally, the same as my height.”
Howard is a big boy and weighs 45 pounds. True, sometimes he forgets about it, climbing into the hardest places and falling asleep in positions that seem to be as uncomfortable as possible. His owners have already collected a whole collection of his hilarious “sleepy” photos.
“His tail is like a weapon that I have to warn people about because it hurts when you get hit with it,” Spencer said.
“He loves to stretch out with his legs straight out behind him sleeping on his belly while on a bed, much like the same way I sleep,” Spencer said. “But ever since he was a puppy, he would put his front paws or front half of his body on furniture and never his back half.”
His owners say Howard has been sleeping in strange positions since he was a puppy. His favorite spot is the big ottoman by the couch, where he’ll lie for hours. Take a look at this handsome fellow.
“Howard has been the best addition to our family,” Spencer said. “It honestly feels like he has always been a part of this family.”
