Cyclist Finds Abandoned Puppies And Carries Them To Safety In His Shirt
Recently, a Brazilian cyclist named Tiago Costa Silva noticed several puppies while riding. The cubs were lying in a small hole where the cyclist thought they had been left on purpose. The man carefully pulled each puppy out of the hole.
“They were in a super remote place, far away,” he told The Dodo. “Someone dug the hole and left them there to die. They were weak and couldn’t escape
The four puppies were now safe, for the cyclist had not left them in harm’s way. He and his friend gave the pups bottled water to drink. The little ones drank the water greedily.
“They were dying of thirst and hunger,” Silva said. “They just wanted to survive.”
The men didn’t have room to carry the babies, but they placed them in their bicycle suits and drove them that way. Tiago then took the puppies to his house and began to care for them. When the pups recovered, he posted their photo and story on social media.
So for each puppy rather quickly found owners. Now they all live in warm homes and are surrounded by care. Thanks to a man who cared enough not to pass by these little ones.
“They were all adopted by good people who love animals,” Silva said. “Thank God.”
