Couple Spots 2 Furry Faces Peeking Out Of The Weeds And Knows They Have To Help
When a couple from the United States, Logan, and Abigail Fabrizio, were driving in their car through the countryside, they happened to notice two puppies near the road. They immediately thought that the beagle puppies clearly belonged to someone in the area. But returning a little later to the same place, they saw the puppies there again and realized that something was wrong there. The puppies were very young, and clearly they were frightened.
“We could tell they were abandoned,” Logan Fabrizio told The Dodo.
The couple immediately decided to help the poor little creatures. The pups were so shy that they had trouble luring them out of the bushes with hotdogs. But they succeeded, and the little ones were safe now. The couple brought the pups home, where they bathed and fed them. In addition, as many as 20 ticks were removed from the little ones.
“They are loving it,” Fabrizio said. “Hogging the bed, running all over the furniture and exploring the 10 acres we are on.”
Through the local shelter, the couple found out that the puppies had no owners. No matter how they looked for them, no one ever showed up. The couple decided to keep the pups as they became very close and attached to each other. The brother and sister were named Remi and Riley. They are growing up healthy and active.
It’s been a month since the beagles were rescued, and now the pups are happy and enjoying life every day around their owners.
“The dogs definitely changed some day-to-day habits and rearranged some of our priorities,” Fabrizio said. “But, overall, I believe our lives have been changed for the better since we found these two.”
