A couple of months ago, a Parisian named Morgan and her boyfriend rented a small house. When it started to get warmer, the guys often left the front door open. One day, a ginger cat came to their door.
He looked in through the window, then quickly crawled through the crack in the door, and made his way into the house. Here he suddenly felt like a boss, as if he had lived here for a long time. The kitty even climbed onto the couch, taking it for himself.

“Coincidentally, (earlier that day) I asked my boyfriend to get a fish because it was lonely with just the two of us. It was a sign,” Morgan told Love Meow. “He comes over every day, sometimes multiple times a day, as long as someone is home to let him come and go,”
The cat was clean and well-groomed, so the guys thought he was just a neighbor, and decided to meet the new tenants. But after that, the cat started running in more and more often – in addition, the couple fed him.

“The first thing he does every single time he comes in is wander through each part of the apartment. He always immediately finds the things that are new, sniffs them out if there is anything, then hops to us for snuggles.”
The guys even gave their friend a nickname, Caramelo, and were always happy to welcome him. After staying with them for a couple of hours, he would run back. Later the couple talked to the neighbors to find out where this friendly redhead had come from.

It turned out that the cat really is a neighbor’s cat – he lives with an elderly man not far from the guys’ house. Now they have peace of mind knowing that their guest returns to their loving home every day!

Morgan added: “I want to take the owner a little treat to say ‘hello’ and ‘we love your cat.”
