Aoife is a very special kitty. She is now two years old and not so long ago she couldn’t have imagined how her life would change. Sabrina and James, a couple from the United States, noticed the kitty’s photo on social media, on the page of a shelter. They immediately fell in love with this cute creature, and learned that the baby was born special.
Because of a congenital pelvic deformity and curvature of her spine, Aifa cannot walk normally. She has paralysis of her hind legs, so she has to wear a special diaper and take supportive medications her whole life. In addition, the baby needs special care and vet visits.

Aoife is now two years old. She gets along great with all the cats in the family, and is very fond of playing and asking for affection. Despite her peculiarities, she enjoys life every day and proves to everyone around her that nothing is impossible.

“Her followers are very vocal about how much they love her story, but it wasn’t until her first reel hit 1 million views that we realized we had a little star,” Sabrina shared. “She’s stubborn, feisty, fearless and incredibly strong, which makes for hilarious and inspirational videos. We had no idea she would have this much attention though.”
