French photographer Philippe Ricordel spotted this funny polar bear while on a tour of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in northeastern Alaska, USA. He was about two meters away and took several pictures of the predator.

After that, the curious bear cub decided to swim up to the tourist boat. The photographer managed to film her up close with a special monopod as she began to explore and sniff the camera. He warned that this would not work with larger males.
