Cat’s Secret Crush On The Construction Workers Outside Her Window
Recently, the owner noticed her cat sitting as if waiting for someone near the window. She did not understand what was wrong. They live on the 15th floor. But when a construction worker appeared outside the window doing work at height, the owner understood what was going on!
“I first noticed Cleo’s fondness for the workers about four months ago, once I started working from home,” Caelin Smith, Cleo’s mom, told The Dodo. “I heard her meowing behind the blinds at something outside my 15th-floor window.”
A nice cat named Cleo, lives happily with her owner in the United States. Recently her owner started working at home and noticed her cat’s strange behavior. She was always looking for something in the window of the apartment, although there were only construction workers working at height.
Then she saw the cat peeking right under the blinds. It turned out there was a construction worker waving at the cat. Apparently they had met before.
“They were playing with her through the window,” Smith said. “She had these workers wrapped around her paw! I thought to myself, ‘How long has this been going on for?!”
It turned out that the construction workers always started work at the same time in the morning. The cat managed to make friends with one of them through the window, and every day since then she waited for her new friend.
“I’ve noticed a fondness toward electricians, plummers and cable guys,” Smith said. “We live in a 500 square foot studio apartment, so this is definitely the most exciting interaction this city kitty has ever experienced.”
According to the owner, Cleo is a very sociable lady and generally likes to make friends with working people.
“Cleo is the epitome of a COVID kitty,” Smith said. “She loves to be in the presence of others and absolutely hates to be alone. She yells at me every time I leave the apartment for more than two hours.”
