A resident of Arizona, USA, noticed this kitty near her house. It was humbly rubbing itself near her, asking for attention and food, and a little later the woman noticed that the kitty had a rounded belly. She immediately decided to help her and let her in.
Sandy immediately contacted Jin’s Bottle Babies, a local rescue center, to have its staff help take care of the babies and mom. The feline family was taken to a holding facility that day, where the mother cat quickly settled in.
“When I went to pick them up, the cat mom (named Jade) walked right up to me for chin scratches,” Jen shared with Love Meow. “Besides being one of the best mamas, she’s also just a very sweet girl. If the babies weren’t nursing, she got up and followed me around chirping.”
The mother cat, named Jade, was a sensitive and attentive mother. She wouldn’t leave her kittens alone and took tender care of each one. Soon the kittens were growing up and exploring all around them, but their mother still had her eyes on them.
One of the kittens, baby Hunter, was more attached to his mother than the others. He followed her wherever she went, and while the other kittens played together, his mom became his best friend. A strong bond developed between them – they adored each other.
“Hunter’s favorite toy is Jade’s tail. I always try to send kittens home with their favorite toy if possible, and in this case, Hunter would be getting his wish,” Jen shared. “These two have always made me laugh, the little comedy duo. Liam is going to be a barnacle on Jade’s butt for life — an adorable little barnacle,”
When the babies were old enough and it was time to find families for them, the foster mom decided to only give Hunter and his mom away together. So inseparable were they! Sandy took care of the cat and did everything for her comfort. The cat was full of gratitude and love. The very next day the cat decided to give the woman a gift and gave birth to five healthy and adorable babies.
Now the kittens continue to be given to new owners. We also wish Hunter and his mother to find a loving home soon!
