Cat rescued after being forced to live in tiny bird cage

A few years ago Florida-based rescue group Furry Nation Salvation received a call about a homeless cat in a horrific state. When rescuers approached a small, filthy birdcage they saw a year-old cat.
Rescuers took the cat to the veterinary clinic, where it was discovered that the cat had a serious flea problem. However, it was the good-hearted caretakers who solved the problems. She was named Holly Peppermint. Holly quickly recovered and felt what freedom meant.
The poor cat had lived in that tiny cage her entire life, so it was strange for her to have so much space now. Holly Peppermint regained her happiness and she lives her life to the fullest. She found a loving family, a 10-year-old cat sibling and enough space to play and run to her heart’s content.
