Cat Has Been in and Out of Shelter, Hopes to Find Family Willing to Help Her
Lily was brought to the Hamilton Animal Services shelter in Ontario, Canada. Her owners had left her at the shelter because she was “naughty”. Before that, she had other owners who also gave her to the shelter because she didn’t get along with their other cats.
Lily had suffered a lot and was fearful and shy. The shelter volunteers took her into their care. At first, she was a little afraid of everything around her, but she soon became more gentle and began to freely ask for affection from her foster carers.
This kitty is very sweet, affectionate, and quiet. She loves attention and quickly learns new things, so the fosters immediately weaned her off the bad habit of going to the toilet past the litter box. Lily loves to be in the company of people, and loves to lie on her lap and purr for a long time.
The kitty has a problem with being overweight, but now the foster carers are actively working on this by balancing the cat’s food and making sure she is more active.
Lily is now five years old, and they have already started looking for a new home for her. The fosterers hope that soon this adorable cat will find loving owners who will never let her leave their lap. Lilly is looking forward to it herself!
