Cat Finds Kitten in Her Home and Tries to Win Her Over and Even Helps Raise Her
Residents of Poland found a tiny three-color cat in the garden of their home. She was about two weeks old and had been abandoned by her mother cat. The people couldn’t leave her alone in the street, so they decided to help. They contacted a local animal rescuer named Magdalena.
The woman took the baby to her house and started taking care of her, feeding her by the hour. She also has two house cats – one of them, Malaika, immediately noticed the kitten’s squeak and kept her at the door.
“On the first day, we decided to keep the kitten from our cat, and introduce them gradually,” Simin shared with Love Meow.
When the baby got strong enough, she was introduced to the other cats – and Malaika finally decided to take on the role of a guardian. She began to spend all her time with the baby – guarding her, washing her after she was fed, and just giving her love.
The baby herself, nicknamed Mafia, did not resist this love in any way. She fell in love with Malaika in return and they spent a lot of time together – cuddling, exploring the house, playing, and sleeping.
“We were so surprised when Titak came over to her and started licking her. That moment was just fantastic,” Simin shared with Love Meow. “After that, they began to play with each other and Bolur even let Titak groom her.”
Once upon a time, Magdalena rescued Malaika from the street – she, too, was very young and had fallen into a difficult situation. The woman gave her a new life and showed her what true love could be. Now the cat is happy to share it with others.
Meanwhile, Mafia grew up and learned all the important cat things from her “foster mom.” They began to look for permanent owners for her, and recently she found a long-awaited home – one family fell in love with the baby, and decided to take her in.
“Titak is super supportive of her. When Bolur is eating, sleeping or playing, she is always nearby trying to keep the kitten safe,” Simin told Love Meow. “They play a lot during the day. Bolur likes to chase her big sister and then hide in a place until Titak finds her.”
Malaika still continues to take care of the kittens that her owner brings to the group home. I guess the cat sees it as her mission to help those who need love and care!
“I am so happy and grateful for having them together.”
