An American woman named Simin has a pet cat named Titak. She is a very social and active creature, and one day her owners decided to find a companion for her. They were looking for a second cat, but came across a little kitten who had recently lost her mother.

The tiny cat, named Bolur, had lost her mother at the age of four weeks and was left to her own fate. People rescued her from the street and she was taken to a shelter. There a woman came across her and fell in love with her at first sight.
It turned out they had already found owners for Bolur’s brothers, but she was still alone in the shelter. The woman decided to take her into her own family. Now she was to meet Titak.

“On the first day, we decided to keep the kitten from our cat, and introduce them gradually,” Simin shared with Love Meow.
However, the first acquaintance did not go well. Hearing the kitten’s squeak, Titak immediately came running to check on the new guest in the house. But as soon as she approached, the little cat hissed. She was afraid of the big cat, and she tried her best to scare it away.
Despite such reactions, the adult Titak did not stop. She wanted to gain the kitty’s trust and get to know her. Over time, Bolur began to get used to her scent, and one day she fell asleep on her cot. That’s how their friendship began.

Soon the two began to spend more time together. Titak was happy that she had gained Bolur’s trust by licking her and showing her maternal instincts. Bolur reciprocated her affection.

“We were so surprised when Titak came over to her and started licking her. That moment was just fantastic,” Simin shared with Love Meow.
The kittens played, ate, and slept together for long periods of time. Titak became her younger sister’s protector, following her around the house with her tail. She taught her important cat things and felt responsible for her.
As Bolur grows up active and healthy, Titak is always there for her. Their bond grows stronger every day, and the owner is sure this friendship is forever!
