Camera Catches Woman’s Sweet Gesture For Dog When Earthquake Strikes
A dog named Owen was once a stray and very weak. He was found on the streets of Taiwan, all alone. A woman named Gudi Wu picked him up and gave him a new life and the dog never fails to thank her for it.
The owner was recently sitting at home working, and Owen was nearby. Suddenly there was an earthquake, and Owen was the first to feel it. The dog jumped up on his paws and ran to the corner.
“I knew he was afraid,” Wu told The Dodo. “So I held him in my arms to comfort him and, if things began to fall, to use my body to protect him.”
Seeing how frightened the dog was, Goody immediately rushed to comfort him. She put her arms around her trembling beloved pet and tried to reassure him that everything was all right.
Fortunately, the 6.5-magnitude earthquake didn’t last long. After that, Owen looked around a little more, but then he calmed down.
“He is a very brave dog, but he was scared during the earthquake,” Wu said. “When I held him, he felt at ease. He is very smart and very loving. He’s my baby,” Wu added. “Dogs help us all their lives and bring us happiness, so we must protect them.”
