Baby Endangered Red Wolf Grows Up Which Makes Scientists Glad
In the American zoo, a baby red wolf was born for the first time in 17 years. This is a great joy not only for the mom-wolf but also for the scientific community. There are only 15 red wolves left in the world.
At first, he was only sleeping and eating, and his caring mother never left her son’s side. For a month, the baby did not come out of the den and was gaining strength. Now, together with his mother, the baby is exploring his world around. The baby is named Diego.
The first few weeks he didn’t leave his mom’s side, but now he follows and learns from his dad. The head of the family doesn’t mind such a cute tail – male wolves also take part in raising their young.
The animals of this species are in danger of being extinct: there are only 15 red wolves left in the world.
