In Primorye, members of the Land of the Leopard Center found an orphaned leopard kitten. The cub is only four months old and was taken in an emaciated condition to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in the village of Alekseevka.

The baby weighed only 4.5 kilograms. A detailed examination revealed small wounds, including wounds infected with parasites. The baby was dehydrated, confused, and frightened. According to specialists, the separation from its mother may have occurred because of natural phenomena.

The animal is already feeling better and is rapidly gaining weight. Soon he will be released from the quarantine section to the spacious cage.
