There are a plethora of tales regarding animal companionship.

It’s particularly fascinating when the friendship is between two distinct species. The more dissimilar the creatures are, the more special their friendship becomes.

A Golden Retriever and a lovely guinea pig have such a unique bond. Our story’s heroes are Pippin, a compassionate character, and Frankenstein, an adventurous one.

Despite their stark differences (Retriever is kind and peaceful, while Frankenstein is exuberant), they get along swimmingly.

Everywhere his furry pal goes, the tiny Frankenstein follows her. He appears to be her specter. If Pippin is in the backyard, Frank is likely to be there as well. Pippin is on the bus, and Frank is as well. This, however, does not concern the nice dog.

Pippin acts as Frank’s guardian.

If Frank is hiding behind the evil, only Pippin has the power to make him come out. The adorable guinea pig’s favorite activity, though, is napping. He prefers to snuggle up against her long, luxurious fur, as if she were a cushion.

On Instagram, where they have over 60,000 followers, this quirky couple has grabbed the hearts of their fans.
