Jeff Permar planted a vegetable garden near his home, but he began to notice that fruits and vegetables were constantly disappearing from it. He set up a camera to see who was stealing his crops. It turned out to be a groundhog. A groundhog was stealing from a farmer, but the man didn’t get mad and set up a space for him in the backyard. He named him Chunk.

Now Chunk even has a personal channel on YouTube, where the farmer posts funny videos of him. And recently he started visiting with his family! That’s the kind of friendship that happened.
